The official website has no shop, and the MON COMPTE area is used to book and pay for your own meals.

Les Grands Buffets Lyonnais gift voucher: a different restaurant

The Les Grands Buffets Lyonnais gift voucher is for a separate restaurant at 22 rue du Bœuf, in Vieux-Lyon. Its page states that the voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, for one or more meals at Les Grands Buffets Lyonnais, and that it is sold online through a SecretBox shop. The page mentions no link with Narbonne.

The shared name puts both addresses side by side in search results. Before paying for a voucher, check the town and address of the restaurant on the purchase page.

Giving a meal at Les Grands Buffets without a voucher

To give a meal at Les Grands Buffets within the restaurant's rules, book in your own name and invite the person to your table. The FAQ states that a booking is strictly reserved for the client named as holder and the guests accompanying them. You attend the meal, and the person you are treating is one of your guests.

Booking in your name and then handing the booking to someone else does not work. Les Grands Buffets state that a booking cannot be assigned or transferred in any way, free of charge or for payment. The holder's name confirmed when booking cannot be changed: to change it, you must make a new booking and then cancel the first one, with the deductions set out in the General Terms.

If the person is to dine without you, the simplest option is for them to book from their own account, and for your gift to take another form.

Les Grands Buffets price per person

The Les Grands Buffets menu costs €65.90 per person, according to the "Horaires et tarifs" (opening hours and prices) page of the FAQ. The restaurant charges one price to every guest at the table, whatever their age, and the price applied is the one in force on the date of the meal. Drinks are not included.

Payment comes in stages. For a booking made more than 37 days before the meal, you choose when booking between a cancellation guarantee of €5 per person, non-refundable and not deducted from the meal, and a deposit of €20 per person, deducted from the menu price but not refunded if you cancel. The menus are then prepaid from MON COMPTE, only between 60 and 30 days before the meal. For a booking made 37 days or less before the meal, the full price of every menu at the table is paid when booking.

Payment methods at Les Grands Buffets

Les Grands Buffets accept only cash and Visa or MasterCard bank cards. The FAQ lists among refused methods, in a list it describes as non-exhaustive, bank cheques, American Express cards, meal vouchers and chèques vacances. A multi-retailer gift card is not among the accepted methods: check with the restaurant before giving one for a meal in Narbonne.
